  • PHTLS

    Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) courses improve the quality of trauma care and decrease mortality.     This course content encompasses two main components: the process for becoming an AHA Instructor and the stages of the instruction cycle, which include Prepare, Teach, Test & Remediate, Close, and Keep Current.   • GEMS

    The GEMS course helps EMS practitioners learn to conduct a comprehensive assessment of geriatric patients. Be­cause the aging process affects all body systems, NAEMT’s course provides an overview of changes that occur as people age and describes how those changes can impact patient pre­sentation. Incorporation of the GEMS Diamond (Geriatric, Environmental, Medical, and Social assessments) can help practitioners formulate a holistic diagnostic and treatment approach.

  • All Hazards Disaster Response

    The All-Hazards Disaster Response (AHDR) course provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively respond to a wide range of disaster scenarios, encompassing natural disasters, infrastructure failures, fires, radiological events, pandemics, active shooter incidents, and other mass casualty events.
